The first Lesotho Mohair sale of 2022!

The first Lesotho Mohair sale of 2022 was held on the 2nd of August at the Wool Exchange in Port Elizabeth. The offering comprised of 784 bales of mohair with a combined total weight of 112 636 kilograms. Gerrit van der Heever of OVK kicked off the auction followed by Gert Erasmus from BKB, presenting the auction on behalf of House of Fibre.

The competition from all the buying houses for the mohair on sale was clear to see, and all the Lesotho mohair on offer was sold during the day. It was a good start to the mohair winter sale season, and we hope to see this following through to the first Cape Mohair sale taking place on the 16th of August 2022.
