Mohair Mark Application Form
The purpose of the Mohair Trade Mark is to identify this luxurious natural fibre, Mohair in products. Mohair South Africa developed this mark to assist end consumers and those in the value chain to make informed decisions. The Mohair Mark may only be used on products that contain more than 10% natural mohair fibre.
The Mohair Mark can be displayed on Bales of Greasy Mohair, Bales of Mohair Tops, Mohair Yarns, Woven Mohair Fabric, Knitted Mohair Fabric, Finished Mohair Garments and Mohair Homeware Products. The Mohair Trade Mark may be utilized digitally on websites and social media channels (for example: Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram), as well as on stationary and marketing material. However, kindly note that you need to familiarise yourself with the Logo Identity Guidelines and consult Mohair South Africa if you have any questions.
To apply for usage of the Mohair Mark please complete and submit the application form below. We will review your application, and complete the necessary checks to ensure your products pass the quality standards required. Once these checks have been completed, we will be in touch with a link to access the Mohair Mark collateral materials and provide details on how to work with the Trade Mark.
