Mohair South Africa is seeking a creative and experienced Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team at our beautiful mohair headquarters in Port Elizabeth. As a natural animal fibre from the Angora Goat, mohair is used in fashion, homeware, hand knitting, craft, and industrial applications worldwide. South Africa is well-respected for our quality, quantity, processing, and spinning capabilities, and the care of our animals, people, and the impact we have on the earth is not negotiable.

As a Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting and marketing mohair globally, sharing and telling our unique stories in the B2B space and to end consumers. Your creativity, personality, ability, style, and experience will directly impact the way we engage, communicate, think, and work as we adapt to the needs of future consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and editing well-written and created content

• Using creative graphic design skills to support digital marketing

• Managing various digital media platforms

• Updating websites

• Creating and delivering monthly industry newsletters

• Communicating globally via various digital channels and internally within the organization

• Conducting market intelligence and online analytics

• Managing databases

• Advertising

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing and communications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge and appreciation of textiles

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team

• Strong project management and organization skills

• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques

• Proven ability to work to deadlines and manage priorities effectively

• Willingness to travel locally and internationally
