He was launching a very special knitwear product that is made from under 20-micron mohair. This is positioning mohair, a rare fibre on the top of selected mohair yarn collections.

Traditionally the countries importing the most mohair tops from South Africa are Italy, China, and the UK and 2022 was no different.

Last year the mohair, wool and cotton industries were invited to join this project, the great idea of the current Italian Ambassador to SA’s wife. She saw so much talent that she wanted to assist by opening doors to their fashion industry.
